Antique splendour radiates from this fireplace, which originated in the Archipelbuurt in The Hague. At the end of the 18th and the beginning of the 19th century, much changed in this area with the arrival of the French. The Archipelbuurt is now a protected part of The Hague, and this fireplace can decorate your home as a showpiece from this period.
The lines of this elegant fireplace lead you to the centre of the frieze with a milled circle, characteristic of fireplaces of Dutch origin. Placed at 30 degrees from the corners are completely solid consoles, the undersides of which are decorated with a graceful leaf motif. The traditional mantel shelf has ends that are also set at 30 degrees. Classic-modern elegance for a timeless interior.
