Antique Circular Fireplace in White Veined Marble with Steel Insert

An antique fireplace in white Italian marble with lively, restless grey veining. A stone with the allure of Arabescato, in which no two pieces are ever alike. The model is clean and architectural in conception, with clear lines that give the natural figuring of the marble all the room it needs.

The rectangular firebox opening is flanked by calm, straight jambs that rise into understated consoles, on which the frieze and mantel shelf rest.

The substantial mantel shelf gives the fireplace a stately silhouette and creates a fine play of shadow along the edges, allowing the clean profile to show at its best.

The included steel insert features a fine diamond motif with subtle floral accents in each panel, framed by a stepped profile around the hearth opening. The deep-black steel forms a striking contrast with the light marble and brings depth and craftsmanship to the heart of the fireplace.
