Antique Circular Column Fireplace in Black & Red Marble

This antique column fireplace is executed in black marble with inlaid panels and columns of red flamed marble with white veins, Rouge Griotte. The combination of the deep black and the warm, lively red gives the fireplace a balanced and characterful appearance. The build is classic, with straight half-columns on either side resting on the consoles, inlaid with red marble. In the front are finely finished panels and a central rosette, indicative of 19th-century craftsmanship.
