An antique circular fireplace in black Noir de Mazy marble. The deep black of the stone gives the fireplace a calm yet pronounced presence in the room.
The arch is finished with refined carved detailing, giving the opening a soft outline and making the craftsmanship clearly visible. The front is recessed, which adds depth and reinforces the proportions of the fireplace. Applied blocks on the consoles give the whole more relief and layering, without making the design heavy.
As a circular model, this fireplace is suited to being placed around an existing hearth opening or mantel. Thanks to its depth and dimensions it is very well suited to housing a Jøtul wood stove, for example, with the fireplace framing the whole in a natural way.
